Alex has been in photography and multimedia production since 2004, and is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism.

His work experience includes the White House Photo Office, U.S. News & World Report, Better Homes & Gardens, Parents, FITNESS, and FamilyFun magazines, as well as an independent producer.

His photographs have appeared on the pages of the New York Times, U.S. News & World Report, as well as on NBC’s TODAY Show, and have hung in the West Wing of the White House.

As a digital editions operator for Meredith Corporation he created more than 100 animations for Better Homes & Gardens, Parents, Fitness, and FamilyFun magazines, including 25 covers.

He is currently Web & Digital Media Director for "WONKS!" a political talk show and podcast covering local and presidential politics. He lives in Iowa with his wife Hillari and four kiddos.
